Yoga is an ancient practice, which can be traced back to over 5000 years ago. Its believed that Lord Shiv was the first yogi and he distributed his knowledge to Saptarish(Seven Wise People) to pass this knowledge in seven different directions. The first mention of yoga is done in Rig veda, which also contain information on origin of world and advice for living a satisfying and successful life.
